Dear All
It is with much sadness that I have to report that Bob Shepherd collapsed and died whilst playing squash at the club last night. It is thought he suffered a heart attack. The club would like to thank everybody who helped, especially those club members who performed CPR and stayed with Bob until the ambulance took him away.
He was a true gentleman and was a proper club member- he came in from afar for his matches and was a familiar face at all the social gatherings.
I will let everyone know when I find out when the funeral is.
The glass back court will be closed until Friday, so anybody who has booked a court will you please rebook on court 2. I will confirm reopening on Thursday evening.
Please raise a glass this evening for Bob.
